November 6, 2011 is a celebration of a wonderful evening that Lecturer Zhou Ziming's studio announces its festive party at the grand concert hall of Xiamen University College of Arts.
The program consists of western opera arias, Western art songs, Chinese folk songs and songs from the music plays, all of which will be presented by students as following:"The last song"by Chen Yang; "The Returning Star"by Chen Qincong; "February Farewell"by Yang Hanyi;"River Flowing East" by Li Wenhan; "Marriage of Figaro- Voi che Sapete" by Han Zhesheng;"La Vuchella" by Zhouyu;"Star- Opening the Window Gently"by Wang Xiaotian;"Paride ed Elena- Omio dolce ardor"by Zhang Sengxiong; "The Passionate Land"by Wan Cheng; "Fledermaus- Mein Herr Marquis"by Zhao Yue;"Til' Death Torn Us Apart" by Liu Weiguang; "Jade Bird - My Internal Love"by Xu Chengbing.
Lecturer Zhou Ziming's Biography:
Zhou Ziming is a tenor who received his master degree at Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. He takes various positions: full time voice faculty at the Xiamen University College of Arts, part time voice faculty at Jia Geng College and vice president of Music School of Xiamen. In the play of "Romeo and Juliet" of Budapest, he was chosen to be the Romeo and has won the special award. Lecturer Zhou was the first prize winners of Russian vocal competition Southern district in 2009, and Kiev Wo Rugerri International Voacl competition in 2004. He was also an extensive performers in places like Milan Italy in 2001; Tchaikovsky National Music Academy in 2004 and 2005 and Xiamen University College of Arts in 2006
